The CyberWeek Africa 2026 Hackathon is designed to bring together Africa’s brightest cybersecurity minds to tackle real-world digital security challenges through innovation, collaboration, and practical problem-solving. As part of CyberWeek Africa 2026, the hackathon provides a platform for students, researchers, developers, cybersecurity professionals, and technology enthusiasts to develop cutting-edge solutions that strengthen cyber resilience across the continent.
A hackathon is an intensive innovation challenge where participants work individually or in teams over a limited period to design, build, and present technology solutions that address specific real-world problems. It is an opportunity to transform ideas into working prototypes, demonstrate technical expertise, collaborate with industry experts, and develop solutions with the potential for real-world impact.

– Current undergraduate students taking a degree or diploma in IT / Computer Science / CyberSecurity / Digital Forensics.

Participants will be expected to form groups of up to FIVE members with diversified skill sets.
